RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PERIOD MARCH-APRIL 2024

Script Development

The project's script will undergo extensive development during the research phase, encompassing a deep exploration of characters, their experiences with loneliness, and the narrative structure that combines live action and animation seamlessly.

Character Development

Clowning is a unique art form that demands exceptional physicality and character development. We will work with professional clown trainers to refine the characters and their physicality to evoke humor, empathy, and connection with the audience.

Technical Experimentation

We will conduct rigorous technical experiments to develop innovative methods for integrating animation and live performance. This will involve testing various animation techniques, projection methods, and real-time interaction between actors and animated elements.

Community Engagement

The research period will also involve reaching out to communities and individuals who have experienced loneliness. We will conduct interviews and workshops to ensure that our portrayal of loneliness is accurate and respectful.
