Professor Aardvark commissions, develops and presents brave, entertaining and compelling new theatre.

We identify emerging and established theatre makers who experiment, innovate, and take artistic risks to evolve physical, visual led theatre into the future.

With a focus on the cultivation of the next generation and diversification, Profaard serves as a launching pad for the future artistic leaders in the field.

Through the commissioning, development, production, and touring of new works, Profaard aims to expose audiences around the world to relevant contemporary physical and visual theatre works of the highest caliber.
